First I'd like to thank everyone who has helped in making this the most successful Spring Event Tech has ever had. Spring has been very busy, to say the least. We have met some great people along the way. Event Tech has traveled from Central Florida to Middle Georgia and everywhere in between. We had the pleasure of DJ'ing a 10 year old birthday party, Class of '69 Class Reunion, Hooters bikini contest, and multiple weddings over the past few months. We have even started working with a Mixed Martial Arts crew and providing music for their events.
One of our weddings included a couple from Japan that came back to the states to be with their family for their big day. They brought back some differnent items from Japan including some Sake. Now this wasn't your traditional rice liquor sake. It was special. They called it Habu Sake. Habu is a poisonous snake found in Japan and placed into the bottle of sake. Very interesting...
We also had a tree fall across the main highway leading into one of our weddings. Of course this happened just moments before the bride was supposed to walk down the aisle. This knocked out power to the entire area. Thankfully someone at the event allowed us to plug into their truck to power our speakers long enough for the ceremony to finish. As they say... The show must go on.
Event Tech has also included a new service to our line up. We now offer piping and draping. So if you have a wall that you need covered, an area that you need walled off, backdrops, or if you need booths for trade shows, Event Tech can handle all of your pipe and drape needs.
